TRAINERS & TECHIES

Amy J. Monesmith

Amy graduated from Purdue University with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology and is expected to graduate in December 2010. Amy is B.P.R.'s head trainer and handler at hunt tests. She began training retrievers in 2003 with Ruger and has not looked back. She is constantly striving to seek new and better ways to train retrievers to maximize their hunting abilities as well as hunt test skills. Amy's hobbies include hunting, dog training, hunt tests, and snowmobiling.

Jeff R. Monesmith

Jeff is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. Jeff currently works for Indy Aero at the Mount Comfort Airport on the east side of Indianapolis. He is B.P.R.'s assistant trainer and moral supporter. Jeff also enjoys hunting, dog training and snowmobiling.

Jamie Monesmith

Jamie is a graduate of Purdue University's Veterinary Technician program. She currently works for Oaklandon Animal Clinic. Her interests include horses and snowmobiling.

Harley A. Cardwell

Harley A. Cardwell is 24 and serves as B.P.R.'s Webmaster. He took a pup from last year's litter, Black Powder's Crimson Kimber, and he and Amy are working with training her. Kimber is a beautiful Fox Red female with a loving personality. Harley's interests and hobbies include his church, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and motorcycles.
